Make - Trigger: A member joins an offer
With Make, you can trigger a scenario when a member joins an offer.
To do this, use the SchoolMaker Trigger: Watch School Events module.
Here are a few examples of possible scenarios:
- Add a member to an email list when they join an offer
- Create a contact in your emailing tool
- Send an email to a member when they join an offer
- Add a member's email address to a table when they join an offer
- ...
The structure of your scenario will look like this:
- Trigger: SchoolMaker: a member joins an offer
- Action: Do the desired action
Step 1: Select the SchoolMaker module
After configuring the trigger in your scenario:
- Click on "Add another module"
- Select the "SchoolMaker" module
Note: Select the "SchoolMaker - verified" module, not the SchoolMaker (Legacy) module.
Step 2: Select "Watch School Events
Step 3: Connect your SchoolMaker school to Make (if you haven't already done so)
Click on "Create a connection"
Add the signing secret and click on "Save"
The signing secret is available in your school by clicking on Settings > Integrations.
Step 4: Configure your "Watch School Events" module
Select the "New Member Access" event and save.
Then select the relevant offer.
The scenario will be triggered when a member joins this offer.
Step 5: Configure the action
Configure the rest of your scenario according to the action you wish to perform.
Examples:
- Active Campaign: Add a tag to a contact
- Active Campaign: Add a contact to a mail sequence
- Slack: Send a message to a channel
- ...
