Create a program

With SchoolMaker:
  • A program is made up of sections
  • A section is made up of lessons
  • A lesson can contain 1 or more steps

In this tutorial, we'll see how to create a program and configure its general settings.

Step 1: Click on "New program"


Click on "New program".

Then click on the pencil to configure your program settings.

Step 2: Name your program and add a description


Step 3: Select the space associated with your program

Each time a member asks a question in this program, it will automatically be added to this space.

This space will have the same name as your program once registered.

In this example, Space "Untitled program" will become Space "Program 1".

Step 4: Add the minimum and maximum time required for your program


You can add:

  • The minimum time required to validate the program
  • The maximum time required to finish the program

This information will be visible to your members in the "settings" tab of their profile:

Step 5: Set up your program options


You can activate the following options according to your preferences:
  1. Published: the program will be published and will be accessible to members who are registered for it
  2. Milestone list: the list of milestones will be displayed in the program plan
  3. Number of members visible: the number of members registered for this program will be visible
  4. Certificates feature: a certificate will be created automatically when a member has completed the program to 100% (all steps must be validated)
  5. Secret program: members who are not registered for this program will not be able to see it in the list of programs present in their school.


Step 6: Add a purchase page link if you wish

Adding a link in this field will add an "Unblock" button for this program in your school's "Programs" tab for all members who do not have access to this program.

We recommend that you use a payment link that leads to an offer giving access to this program.

Step 7: Click on "Save"

You can now save your program settings.


Step 8: Add a logo and cover image to your program

You can illustrate your program with a logo and a banner.


Click on "choose a file" to select the image of your choice:
  • Program logo: The recommended format is 16:9. This corresponds to a horizontal image format (e.g. 1920 x 1080 pixels).
  • Program banner: The recommended format is 4:1. This corresponds to a banner format (for example: 1350 x 350 pixels).

Your members will see the program logo like this by clicking on the "Programs" tab:
