Make - Trigger: A member has been inactive for X days

With Make, you can trigger a scenario when a member has been inactive for X days.

To do this, use the SchoolMaker Trigger: Watch School Events module.

Note that you must first activate the "Notify inactive members" option in your school settings.

The scenario will then be triggered when a member receives notification of inactivity in your school.

The structure of your automation will look like this:

  1. Trigger: SchoolMaker: a member has been inactive for X days
  2. Filter: To tell Make to continue only if certain conditions are met
  3. Action: Take the desired action

Step 1: Select the SchoolMaker module

After configuring the trigger in your scenario:

  1. Click on "Add another module"
  2. Select the "SchoolMaker" module

Note: Select the "SchoolMaker - verified" module, not the SchoolMaker (Legacy) module.

Step 2: Select "Watch School Events

Step 3: Connect your SchoolMaker school to Make (if you haven't already done so)

  1. Click on "Create a connection"

  1. Add the signing secret and click on "Save"

The signing secret is available in your school by clicking on Settings > Integrations.

Step 4: Configure your "Watch School Events" module

Select the "Member Inactivity" event and save.

Step 5: Configure the action

Configure the rest of your scenario according to the action you wish to perform.

Examples:

  • Active Campaign: Add a tag to a contact
  • Slack: Send a message in a channel
  • ...

Step 6: Configure your filter

Click on the link between the trigger and the action to configure your filter.

This filter will allow you to tell Make to continue only if certain conditions are met.

In the following example, we'll tell Make the name of the offer in which the member must be registered for the automation to be triggered.

In our example, the automation should continue if and only if:

  • the name of the offer (select the "Offer Name" field)
  • Equals to
  • to [name of your offer] (enter the name of the offer concerned here)
