How to create a space in your Community ?
You can create posts in each spaces and then, you and yours members can write comments in each posts.
Step 1: Go to the "Spaces" tab in your Community
Click on "Community" and then click on "Spaces" in the sidebar.
Step 2: Create a space
Click on "New Space".
Step 3: Name the space
Name your space by filling in the "Name" field.
You can also add a description to explain in a few words the theme of your space.
In this example, we will create the "Members presentation" space.
New members of the school can introduce themselves in this space.
Step 4: Publish the space
Click on the "Published" button to put your space online.
Members who have access to this space will then be able to add posts and comments in it.
Note:
If you activate the "Closed" button, this space will be closed and your members will no longer be able to interact in this space.
Step 5: Customize your space
You can customize your space with the following options:
- 1 color
- 1 emoji
- 1 square image
This element will then be displayed as an icon just before the space name.
Color:
Choose the color of your space's icon in the "Color" field.
Emoji:
Choose the emoji of your space icon in the "Emoji" field.
Square image:
Choose the image for your space's icon in the "Square image" field.
This image must be in 16x16 pixel format.
Step 6: Save
Save the information by clicking on the "Save" button.
Your space is now online in your Community.
By default, this space is empty when you create it.
We advise you to create 1 or 2 posts to encourage your members to interact from this space.
