Create a post in a space

By default, when you create a new space in your community, this space is empty when you create it.

We advise you to create 1 post to encourage your members to interact from this space.

In this example, we will add the post "Program A member presentation" into the "Member presentation" space. All members of program A will then be able to introduce themselves in this post.

In your program A, you can add a "Create a comment in a post" step in one of the lessons to invite your members to introduce themselves in the post created.

To create a post in a space, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Go to the "Spaces" tab in your Community

Click on "Community" and then click on "Spaces" in the sidebar.

Step 2: Go to the relevant space

Select the space in which you wish to create a new post.

In this example, we will create a new post in the "Member presentation" space.

Step 3: Create a post

1. Click on "Post title" to write the title of your post.
2. Click on "Your post" to write the content of your post.
3. Click on these icons to:
   1. Format the content of your post (bold, italic, bullet list, ...)
   2. Add URL links
   3. Add images
   4. Add video and/or audio (a video and/or audio player will automatically appear in your post)

Step 4: Add your post title

Name your post.

In this example, we create the post "Introducing Program A members".

Step 5: Write your post

Write your post in the second text field.

In our example, this could be presentation instructions or a sample presentation.

Step 6: Publish your post

Publish the post by clicking on the "Post" button.

We have created the post "Introducing Program A members".

We have created the post "Introducing Program A members" in the "Members presentation" space.

Members can introduce themselves by adding a comment to this post.
