Zapier: Add a member to an offer after a purchase with an external app
In this article, we'll see how to add a member to an offer after a purchase wirh an external app like:
- Stripe
- Paypal
- Système.io
- ClickFunnels
- GoCardLess
- ...
Your Zap will look like this:
- Trigger: Your external app: A sale has been made
- Filter: To tell Zapier to continue only if certain conditions are met
- Action: SchoolMaker: Add the member to the offer
In the following example, we want to add a member to an offer in SchoolMaker after a purchase from Stripe.
Step 1: Configure the trigger
Select the "Stripe" app as trigger, then select the "New Payment" event.
Then select your Stripe account.
Step 2: Configure the filter
Add a filter "Only continue if..." after the trigger.
This step tells Zapier to continue the Zap
only if certain conditions are met.
In our example, the Zap should continue only if:
- the name of the product purchased on Stripe
- exactly matches to
- [Name of your product].
Step 3: Configure the action
Select the SchoolMaker app as an action in your Zap, then choose the event "Manage Access to a Product".
Select your SchoolMaker account, then configure the desired action:
- Select in the "Member email" field the variable corresponding to the member's email address
- Select in the "Product" field the offer in which the member has to be added
- Select "True" in the "Access Status" field.
Step 4: Save your Zap
Save your Zap and make a test.
After each purchase from Stripe, each member will be added to the relevant offer in SchoolMaker.
