Zapier: Make an action when a member has completed X% of a program
In this article, we'll see how to make an action when a member has completed X% of a program.
Here are some action examples:
- Add a member to a new offer when they've validated X% of a program
- Add a member's email address to a table when they've validated X% of a program
- ...
Your Zap will look like this:
- Trigger: SchoolMaker: a member validates a step and his progress is equal to X%
- Filter: To tell Zapier to continue only if certain conditions are met
- Action: Do the desired action
In the following example, we want to add a member to a new offer when he has validated 50% of a program.
Step 1: Configure the trigger
Select the "SchoolMaker" app as trigger, then select the event "Step Completed".
Then select your SchoolMaker account.
Step 2: Configure the filter
Add a filter "Only continue if..." after the trigger.
This step tells Zapier to continue the Zap
only if certain conditions are met.
In our example, the Zap should continue only if:
- the program name (select the "Program Name" field)
- exactly matches
- to [Program Name] (enter the name of the relevant program here)
Then add a second condition by clicking on:
The second condition is the following:
- the program completion percentage (select the "Program Completion Percentage" field)
- is exactly
- 50 (enter the desired program completion percentage here (number between 1 and 100)).
Step 3: Configure the action
Select the SchoolMaker app as an action in your Zap, then choose the event "Manage Access to Offer".
Select your SchoolMaker account, then configure the desired action:
- Select the "Email" variable in the "Member Email" field
- Select the offer to which the member has to be added
- Select "True" in the "Member Access" field
Step 4: Save your Zap
Save your Zap and test it.
When the member's progress rate reaches X%, he will be added to the new SchoolMaker offer.
